While anyone can argue that everything should be worth learning, the main aspect that should be learned is to be an ethical digital citizen. As an educator, it is our responsibility to model safe and ethical practices when utilizing technology so our students can be released into the sphere of social technology creating a positive impact on others (Crompton, 2023, ISTE 2.3).

Thomas & Brown (2011), Herring et al. (2016) and many others have not only shown how educators are the figureheads of the educated teaching the students but in reality students have become educated through learning outside of the standard school transaction of knowledge. The digital world/technology has become the educator where all parties (teachers and students) are equally educated and in need of always being a learner (Crompton, 2023).
