I am Jacob Allbright. I completed my Undergraduate at University of Cincinnati. Receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Having attended Miami University of Ohio before that. I am currently receiving my Transition-to-Teaching Licensure and Master of Arts in Secondary Education at Ball State University.

I have been worked at Buffalo Wild Wings in Oxford, OH. for 7 years being a Manager for the last 5 years. In the Spring semester of 2026, I started Substitute Teaching at Union County Middle/High School. This upcoming 26-27 school year, I will be conducting my observations and Student Teaching at Rising Sun Middle/High School along with Substitute Teaching.

My ISTE goals are to develop as a 2.1 Learner, 2.2 Leader, and 2.5 Designer. I want to continue learning from others about how technology can be leveraged to improve meaningful learning, use that information and development to become a leader in student success with technology integration, and design engaging activities that integrate technology in my instruction.

Educational Technology has the purpose of creating and fostering meaningful learning within the students. It is the goal of the educator to inspire students to become digital citizens that are ethically and responsibly engaging as participants within the digital sphere. The role of an educator is to combat the digital divide as much as possible through the training and campaigning for access of technology for all individuals, while also understanding that access is not the only factor that contribute to the digital divide.
